Dancer was an offspring from a tight line breeding on the famous obedience dog Am-Can Ch Bardfield Boomer UDT, WCX, Can UD, TDX, Obedience Hall of Fame and Outstanding Sire.  She was from a litter of eight puppies and two of her littermate's became competitive, talented obedience dogs achieving the prestigious  title of Obedience Trail Champion.  Dancer, herself earned her Utility Dog  title (UD) along with her Working Certificate title (WC).  Dancer produced three litters totaling 30 puppies, when she took time off from competing in obedience.  In those three litters, she produced four offspring achieving the title of Obedience Trial Champion along with many other working titles. Those titles ranged  from Companion Dog (CD) to Utility Dog (UD) to Utility Dog Excellent (UDX) to the difficult title to achieve of Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX).  Dancer was honored by the Golden Retriever Club of America as an Outstanding Dam for the quality of puppies she produced.

Dancer was much like her dam Abbey.  Extremely intelligent,  calm and businesslike in her work, but with a little ‘dazzle’ to her gait when she was heeling in obedience.  Dancer lived a long, healthy life and went to the Rainbow Bridge  at almost sixteen years of age.
